Nasir first started getting involved with music when he joined the middle school band where he played the trumpet and the drum. He stopped band prior to high school. During his junior and senior years of high school, he enrolled in a music technology class at a technical school in addition to his home school. It was there that he discovered his desire to produce. He graduated from South Gwinnett High School with honors and attended Georgia State University. Concurrently, he continued to produce music for the underground scene in Atlanta. After discovering his niche, he then decided to press pause on his education at Georgia State, and press play on his music career full time. Despite his career taking off, he still has plans to return to school.

Career

Digital Nas’ career took off shortly after a mutual friend introduced him to Lil Yachty while he was still in college. The pair has been close friends and collaborators ever since.
